Xiotech Corporation announced that the University of Florida Jacksonville Physicians Inc. (UFJPI) has purchased a Xiotech Magnitude 3D 3000 storage area network system to store all of the organization's data, including electronic medical records and scanned copies of paper financial records.

UFJPI is a support organization for the University of Florida College of Medicine. UFJPI handles support operations, patient billing, and scheduling for the University of Florida's 32 specialty and family practice clinics in northeast Florida and southern Georgia as well as several ambulatory clinics at Shands hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
