Oregon almost took Friday off, but instead had a practice in McArthur Court that kept the the majority of the Ducks from exerting themselves in preparation for Sunday's game against Stanford.
"A day off doesn't hurt them, it re-energizes them," UO coach Ernie Kent said. "We wanted to make sure it was a good mental day."
So the Ducks spent an hour watching video of both their win over California on Thursday night, and recent Stanford games. In the time on the court, the emphasis was on walking through what the Ducks expect from the Cardinal, with the scout team players running offensive sets and inbound plays used by Stanford.
Kent said today's practice would include more shooting and running by the Ducks but wouldn't be a long workout with only 24 hours before Sunday's 1:30 p.m. tipoff.
