As retailers seek new ways to get consumers to make products with their digital images, one of the most promising draws is a custom photo DVD. With its solution present in Kodak and Fujifilm kiosks used by retailers like Wal-Mart and Costco, Sequoia Media Group (www.sequoiamg.com), Draper, Utah, has quietly become the market leader in the custom DVD arena.
It's not just because their DVD products are being used by mega-retailers that this company is leading the charge. The Sequoia aVinci Experience product family, which includes custom movie posters and personal photo storybooks in addition to DVD movies, offers consumers products that stand out from the crowd.

Did you catch that name--DVD "movies?" Founded by a team of former moviemakers, Sequoia high-end DVD products are far from a typical slide show.
The company starts by helping consumers make their movie with photo story cards.
"We're filmmakers. We like to tell a story with the production. Every story has a beginning, a middle, and an ending," says Terry Dickson, vice president of marketing and business development.
