Hong Kong, London, Dec 10, 2007 - (ACN Newswire) - According to IR magazine's Investor Perception Study, Asia 2007/2008 (IPS), 92 percent of Hong Kong & Taiwan respondents feel the quality of investor relations in Asian markets is improving. A higher rate of disclosure and more readily available information are listed as the top contributors to this improvement.
One respondent stated that IROs in the region are 'more willing to discuss and disclose information to investors.'
There is more work to be done, however. Respondents listed communication with shareholders, increased transparency and timeliness of information among the top areas for improvement.
The IPS, now in its seventh year, is the result of an annual independent survey commissioned by IR magazine. The survey offers analysts, portfolio managers and other investors the opportunity to give their candid opinions... |
