Starting in Pawtucket, R. I., and traveling 6,500 miles over a three-week, coast-to-coast journey this summer, "The Unity Ride" raised more than $16,550 to support Disabled American Veterans service and volunteer initiatives. Organizer Greg Offringa notes that our military personnel are really our nation's first responders and we need to take care of those who risk everything on our behalf.
