Wave7 Optics, a supplier of fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) equipment for residential and business services, and SPIE Communications, a company delivering telecom and IT solutions and services, announced that the Trident7 Optical Access Platform has been selected for a new municipal network called SEQUANTIC, which is slated to begin service in October 2007.
