Description
In three year's time, residents in Avondale, Ariz., are going to look a lot more healthy and trim thanks to an initiative aimed at building a healthier community.
With the motto "Helping Each Other Lead Healthier Lives," Healthy Avondale 2010, in partnership with the Arizona Department of Health Services, local businesses, schools, health care providers and community and faith-based organizations, has a mission to involve the entire community to work together to increase residents' awareness of ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
