AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T), the nation's largest wireless carrier, has announced substantial progress in a three-year $230 million effort to expand the coverage and capability of the South Carolina wireless network.
As part of its network enhancement strategy, which includes a $14 million investment this year alone, AT&T also announced plans for additional cell sites, which will expand coverage in South Carolina, by the end of the year. AT&T also completed rebranding its 20 company-owned South Carolina retail locations as part of a nationwide effort to prepare for the unprecedented launch of the iPhone.
