Description
It always trips my BS detector when I hear someone pining for the "good old days" of just about anything. Sure, we fly in the world of TFRs and $5-a-gallon avgas. But we've also traded the anxiety of a scratchy, NDB approach to a lakefront airport with thunderstorms somewhere nearby for GPS approaches with Strikefinders and datalink weather. Maybe it's just that I was born into the computer age and feel at home with high tech, but I'll take the trade.
