Flower essence therapy is not new--history shows that many ancient cultures possessed the knowledge of the therapeutic healing qualities of flowers. In particular, the Egyptian civilization was discovered to have documented evidence of their effective use. Later on in the 15th century, Swiss alchemist Paracelus wrote how he collected the dew from blossoms of flowering plants to treat emotional imbalances in his patients.
