Description: MV Oil Trust was formed in Delaware in August 2006 by MV Partners LLC. The business and affairs of the trust are managed by The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company NA, as trustee. The trust maintains its offices at the office of the trustee in Austin, Texas. In addition, Wilmington Trust Company acts as the Delaware trustee of the trust. The Delaware trustee has only minimal rights and duties as are necessary to satisfy the requirements of the Delaware Statutory Trust Act. On January 24, 2007, MV Partners and the trust completed the initial public offering of trust units. MV Partners conveyed a term net profits interest to the trust that represents the right to receive 80 percent of the net proceeds from all of MV Partners' interests in oil and natural gas properties as of January 24, 2007. These properties are located in Kansas and Colorado. As of December 31, 2008, the properties produced predominantly oil from 1,004 wells, and the projected reserve life of the underlying properties was in excess of 50 years.Mining: Oil reserve handlers.
