Description: DCP Midstream Partners LP is a Delaware limited partnership formed in August 2005 by DCP Midstream, LLC to own, operate, acquire and develop a diversified portfolio of complementary midstream energy assets. The company completed its initial public offering on December 7, 2005 and is traded on the New York Stock Exchange. The company engages in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, transporting and selling natural gas; producing, transporting, storing and selling propane in wholesale markets; and transporting and selling natural gas liquids (NGLs) and condensate. Supported by DCP Midstream LLC and its parents, Spectra Energy Corp and ConocoPhillips, the company's management team is dedicated to executing a growth strategy by acquiring and constructing additional assets. DCP Midstream Partners is organized into three business segments: natural gas services, wholesale propane logistics and NGL logistics. The natural gas services segment has extensive pipelines, processing plant and gathering systems, and gathering and treating assets in Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming. The wholesale propane logistics segment acquired in November 2006 from DCP Midstream, LLC includes six owned rail terminals located in the Midwest and Northeast, one leased marine terminal located in Providence, R.I. and one pipeline terminal located in Midland, Pa. The NGL logistics segment includes an approximately 68-mile and 39-mile pipeline located in Texas as well as a 317-mile pipeline in Louisiana and Texas. More
