Description: MeadWestvaco Corporation was formed in 2001 from the merger of Westvaco Corporation and The Mead Corporation, and is traded on the NYSE. The company manufactures and sells packaging materials and paper products. MeadWestvaco operates four business segments. The packaging resources segment produces bleached paperboard, linerboard and kraft papers, including coated natural kraft (CNK) paperboard, as well as packaging for consumer products.
