Description: Manufacturing: Carthuplas is a company that was founded in 1952 as a real family business. First it was a paper mill, but changes were made in the production at the end of the 80s. Carthuplas started producing jewel boxes and CD packaging. Innovations in CD packaging were created with the patented Brilliant Box, Brilliant Maxibox, Clip Tray, the FlexBox and recently the MultiFlexBox. The Clip Tray is an effective CD package, as thin as a CD itself though strong due to its plastic back. It is very easy to store thanks to its perforations. The FlexBox is made to store DVDs and can hold up to three discs on a single hub. The newest product of Carthuplas is the MultiFlexBox, with its ability to accommodate up to 4 DVDs or CDs. Although it is a family business, Carthuplas also has production plants in Switzerland and the USA. Together they produce more than 5 million packages a day, including about one million DVD boxes.
