Description: Manufacturing: Industria de Turbo Propulsores S.A., created in 1989 is a company dedicated to Engineering, Research and Development, Manufacturing and Assembly and Test of aeronautical engines and gas turbines for aeronautical, naval and other industrial applications, such as energy generation, as well as to the sale and leasing of engines and engine parts. In this short period of time, ITP has become a Group with eleven facilities and is present in Spain, England, USA and LatinAmerica with two new subsidiary companies (ITD, engineering and technological design services and ITA, aeronautical pipes industry) and two companies participated with a majority by ITP such as PCB, an aeronautical casting based in Barakaldo (Vizcaya) and ITR, maintenance facilities in Mexico to cover the American market. The recently acquired company, Amtec, based in Florida (USA) is dedicated to the sale of engines and components, management and leasing. ITP is actually working in four business activities: Engineering, design, research and development, and ILS (Integrated Logistic Support); Manufacturing of aeronautical engine components; - Assembly, Essays and Test, Maintenance, and Repair and Overhaul of aeronautical engines and Gas Turbines, with a capability to overhaul more than 400 engines a year and a 24 hours support service; - Sale and leasing services. The Company has currently important engine manufacturing programmes on going: the EJ200 engine for the EF2000, the A400M, the TRENT Airbus 380, Snecma' s new ATAR Plus, the BR715 for the Boeing 717, NGVs for the CFM56, one of the most sold civil engine, the Industrial turbines ALLISON 601, TF500 and the LM2500 which is also used in naval propulsion, amongst others. ITP is carrying out important technological developments such as the Vectoring Nozzle, which is presently the only one carried out in Europe and has succesfully, completed testing in Test Beds and Altitude test Bed.
