Description: Aqua America Inc. was known as Philadelphia Suburban Corporation until its name change in 2004. The company was formed in 1968 as a holding company for its primary subsidiary, Aqua Pennsylvania, Inc., formerly known as Philadelphia Suburban Water Company.
