Description: Murphy Oil Corporation was incorporated in Louisiana, in 1950, as Murphy Corporation before reincorporating in Delaware, in 1964, under its present name. It was then reorganized in 1983, as a holding company. Murphy Oil is a worldwide oil and gas exploration and production company, with operations classified into two activities: exploration and production; and refining and marketing.
