The pharmaceutical segment includes products in therapeutic areas such as anti-infective, antipsychotic, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, hematology, immunology, neurology, oncology, pain management, urology and virology with brands such as Risperdal (risperidone) orals and injectibles, and Invega, both used for treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar and irritability symptoms; and Remicade (infliximab), an injectible for the treatment of Crohn's disease, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, ulcerative colitis and rheumatoid arthritis. Within the medical devices and diagnostics segment are products used mainly by physicians, nurses, therapists, hospitals, diagnostic laboratories and clinics, several that include Ethicon's wound, surgical and women's healthcare products; LifeScan's blood glucose monitoring and insulin products; and Vision Care's disposable contact lenses.
