Description: Holly Corporation was incorporated in 1947. The company includes the Holly Energy Partners (HEP), which was reconsolidated in 2008. Holly Corporation held its initial public offering in 1994, and trades on the NYSE. The company is an independent petroleum refiner that produces high value light products such as gasoline, diesel fuel and jet fuel. The company currently organizes its business into two reportable segments - refining and HEP. The refining segment includes the operations of the Navajo Refinery, Woods Cross Refinery and Holly Asphalt Company. The HEP segment involves all of the operations of HEP effective March 1, 2008 (date of reconsolidation). Holly Corporation has refineries in Utah and New Mexico; and an asphalt company with locations in New Mexico and Arizona. The HEP segment primarily resides in west Texas and New Mexico. On February 29, 2008, the company closed on the sale of certain crude pipelines and tankage assets. On March 31, 2006, Holly Corporation sold its petroleum refinery in Great Falls, MT (the "Montana Refinery") to a subsidiary of Connacher Oil and Gas Limited.Manufacturing: Manufactures petroleum refining; refines crude oil to produce gasoline, diesel fuel, and jet fuel.
