Fruit of the Loom (NYSE: FTL) is one of the largest producers of underwear, activewear, casual wear and children's wear sold under such brand names as Fruit of the Loom, Munsingwear, Wilson, BVD, Gitano, Pro Player and Underoos (character underwear for kids). The Company performs its own yarn spinning, knitting, bleaching and dyeing in their automated textile manufacturing facilities in the U.S. The Company follows a low cost production strategy by sending its labor-intensive cutting, sewing and packaging abroad.
