It is currently owned by a management group called PPC. The company is one of the largest beef processing plants in the Nation. Headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin, they also have plants in Hospers, Iowa and Gering Nebraska. Recently, the company acquired Sun Land Beef in Tolleson, Arizona and operates that plant also. Packerland slaughters about 5200 head of cattle a day. They market boxed beef products and other product lines such as the showcase Supreme Line which consists of pre-sliced products. Their products are sold all over the world. Additionally, the company operates a transportation division which owns about 300 refrigerated tractor trailers.
