Carrier has operations in South and North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific. The first air conditioning unit, that we take for granted today, was designed by Willis Carrier in 1902. Besides the comfort factor, air conditioning was found to be of great use to companies in controlling dust and humidity. The company also provides refrigeration for transportation of food and related items, and air conditioning and comfort systems for railways, buses, and sea passengers.
