How do you differ from other information providers?
Goliath provides a larger breadth and depth of information than most providers, and provides more flexible purchase options such as month-to-month subscriptions, and individually purchasable documents. We also offer information on privately held companies across the globe through our Company Profile Database.

Purchasing

How do I purchase documents?

  • In order to purchase or subscribe, select the item and click the Purchase or Check Out button. Complete the New Customer registration form and include credit card information.
  • You will create a User ID and Password to access options on the site.
  • You may reuse your User ID and Password for future purchases and you will not need to re-register.

What payment options are available?
Payment by credit card is the only payment option available. Invoices and bank transfers are not accepted.

I have added items to the Shopping Cart, but the cart is still empty.
Check the settings on your computer to determine if the Cookies feature is enabled. In order for the Shopping Cart to function, Cookies must be enabled on your computer.

How do I remove an item from my shopping cart?
Access or log into the View Cart option and check the box in the "delete" column located to the right of the item and click on "update".

Viewing purchased content

How and when will I receive the information that I purchased?

  • Documents are delivered online in an electronic format such as HTML or XML
  • A link will display to immediately access the document at the end of the purchase.
  • You may also view the documents at any time by logging onto the website and clicking on the Reading Room option.

How do I view the documents that I purchased?

  • You may view your purchased documents by accessing the Reading Room link on the Goliath home page.
  • If you are not logged in, enter your User ID and Password in the log in box. Click the Reading Room link.
  • Scroll down and click the View button to view the document.

I purchased several documents, and cannot view them all.
Cached memory that is full may prevent all documents from opening. Try closing your browser sessions. Log into the site, and click the Reading Room option. On the next page scroll down and click the View button to view the documents.

How do I get a receipt for my purchases online?
You may create a receipt by logging onto the website. Click on the My Account option. Select the View Purchase History option and enter a date range.

Refunds

Can I get a refund for my purchase?
Please click here to view our refund policy.

Login

My User ID and Password are not working or I have forgotten them.
Remember that the User ID and Password are case sensitive. You may retrieve your User ID and Password by using the Forgot Your Password option.

Subscriptions

Can I subscribe for just one month?
Yes. Our Company Profile, Industry & Business News and Goliath Full-Site subscriptions are provided on a month-to-month basis for your convenience, giving you access to what you need, and only when you need it. Your subscription will automatically renew each month should you choose to continue, or you may cancel at any time.

How do I cancel my subscription?
You may cancel your subscription online at any time by going to "My Account" and selecting "Cancel My Subscription." Your subscription will remain in effect until the end of your current 31-day period, at which point it will be cancelled.

Does a subscription give unlimited access to all information within a particular database?
Yes. Our subscriptions provide you with complete access to the databases included within each subscription.

What is the geographic coverage of companies within your Company Profile database?
Our Company Profile Database includes both private and public companies worldwide.

What is the mix of privately held versus public companies in your Company Profile database?
Our database of over 450,000 company profiles consists of approximately 10% public and 90% private entities.

Our Company Profile Database includes both Private and Public companies worldwide.

What is the mix of privately held versus public companies in your Company Profile database?
Our database of over 450,000 company profiles consists of approximately 10% public and 90% private.

Are executive-level contacts included in your Company Profiles?
Yes - Our Company Profiles include executive contacts along with their contact information.

Business News

Do your articles contain figures and illustrations?
No. All figures and illustrations have been omitted from all articles within the Business News database.

Do you offer a downloadable list of contacts?
Yes - our Lead Generation product allows you to search for contact by multiple criteria, and will provide you with a downloadable list per your search.

Business Courses

I purchased a self paced course, how do I access it?
Within 48 hours of purchasing a self paced course, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the course.

Lead Lists

Do you offer a downloadable list of contacts?
Yes - our Lead Generation product allows you to search for contact by multiple criteria, and will provide you with a downloadable list per your search.
