Axiom adds jobs to produce auto part

Aurora, Ontario Auto supplier Axiom Group Inc. is adding jobs and boosting production as it begins injection molding a proprietary air-flow circulation exhauster.

Axiom, based in Aurora, received a C$2.4 million (US$1.95 million) grant from the Ontario Next Generation of Jobs Fund to help finance development and production of the part.

Axiom already has invested more than C$16 million (US$13 million) into creating the exhauster, which is used to control air pressure inside the car by giving air a spot to exit the vehicle, which improves the overall comfort level in the cabin, Axiom senior account manager...
