Cathy Bishop
SPRINGFIELD - Cathy Ione Bishop of Springfield died Jan. 26 at age 55. The family chose not to list a cause of death. No service is planned.
She was born July 8, 1953, in Dupree, S.D., to Russell and Helen Russell Stevens. She married Harvey Bishop on July 8, 1970, in Eugene.
She graduated from high school and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Helen Adams of Springfield; a son, Jeremy of Eugene; two daughters, Brandy Bishop and Crystal Bishop, both of Springfield; and five grandchildren.
Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation & Burial Service in Springfield. Remembrances to Bridgeway House in Eugene.
Frank Chandler
Frank LeRoy Chandler of Albany died Jan. 25 of lung disease. He was 91. No service is planned.
He was born Aug. 1, 1917, in Hazelton, Idaho to Frank and Lillie Frye Chandler. He married Doris Mather in 1937 and they divorced after 23 years. He married Freida Smith on Dec. 9, 1960, in Eugene.
Chandler held a general equivalency diploma from South Eugene High School. He was a mill worker, a butcher in a meat packing plant and worked in the Navy shipyards in Bremerton, Wash., during World War II. He was a dry kiln operator for Rogue River Box and later for Starr Lumber in Eugene. He retired in the early 1980s...
