SALEM - Several billion dollars of federal money for public works projects and other efforts would flow into Oregon from the national stimulus package, but Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Ore., who voted for the plan this week in the House, worries that it is being pushed through Congress too quickly and includes too many tax cuts.

During a Friday news conference, DeFazio touted the plan's benefits, warned of its flaws, and took time for a topical detour to blast current proposals to cut greenhouse gas emissions with a cap and trade system.
