FRIDAY, DEC. 12

Prowler: 4:16 a.m., 1400 block B Street. A caller reported that an unknown man was standing on her porch.

Theft: 2:09 p.m., 2100 block Marcola Road. A store employee reported that a customer attempted to purchase a gift card with several different credit cards, which were all declined. The employee said the customer then left the store, taking the unactivated gift cards.

Unattended children: 4:56 p.m., 400 block Lindale Drive. A caller reported that a 5-year-old girl was walking around the apartment complex unsupervised and without a coat.

Warrant service: 5:22 p.m., 1500 block Mohawk Boulevard. A store employee reported that a man who was wanted on an outstanding warrant was attempting to purchase a firearm. Police arrested two people on Lane County warrants for contempt of court.

Disorderly subject: 8:30 p.m., 3100 block Gateway Street. A woman was seen going through the clothes of others at a coin laundry. Officers issued a citation for drinking on unlicensed premises.

SATURDAY, DEC. 13

Hit and run: 1:10 a.m., 1800 block Eighth Street. A caller reported she woke up to find someone had crashed into her vehicle, pushing it through a fence and into her house.
