Call it Little Black Friday.

After a brutal holiday shopping season, retailers are holding out hope that consumers will arrive in force on the day after Christmas. While no one is expecting the kind of mob scene that happens on the day after Thanksgiving - aka Black Friday - retailers are hoping to see a surge of shoppers who aren't just buying discounted wrapping paper and Christmas cards.

"We're geared up for it," said Diana Bray, marketing manager at Valley River Center in Eugene.

She expects many shoppers will be coming in to exchange or return gifts and to spend gift cards they received on Christmas....
