Thanks for support of U.S. troops

The Yellow Ribbon Support Group has sent more than 12,300 boxes since April 2003 to the troops serving in harms way with the help of civic groups, church congregations and American patriots.

We also collected over 3,000 pounds of Halloween candy from municipalities, churches, schools and corporations, which we include in the boxes going to the troops overseas.

The YRSG will again join forces with the Girl Scouts and Brownies from Cook and Lake Counties after receiving more than 6,200 boxes of cookies through operation cookie drop 2008. We...
