THE tungsten-like disposition of Tony McCoy cracked at Leopardstown yesterday as he wrapped the diminutive Jonjo ONeill in a bear-hug and lit up the winners enclosure with a mega-watt smile.

The Antrim native doesnt display his emotions readily but the emphatic victory of Exotic Dancer in the featured Lexus Chase clearly meant as much to him as any of the 123 winners he has booted home on either side of the Irish Sea this season.

After spending most of the past two years chasing Kauto Stars shadow, the McCoy-Exotic Dancer axis finally landed a belated big one for ONeill, for whom Grade One successes have been a little too infrequent...
