CORVALLIS - Oregon's 65-38 victory over Oregon State in Reser Stadium on Saturday helped the Ducks avoid losing three straight Civil War games for the first time since an eight-game OSU winning streak from 1964-71.

The Ducks had dropped two straight for the first time since 1973-74, losing 30-28 on a blocked field goal in Reser two years ago and 38-31 in double overtime last season in Eugene.

"It ate at me a lot, knowing that they beat us the past two years," UO cornerback Walter Thurmond III said....
