New York-based American International Group Inc. has named Paula Rosput Reynolds vice chairman and chief restructuring officer. Ms. Reynolds previously was chairman, president and chief executive officer of Safeco Corp. AIG also named David L. Herzog executive vp and chief financial officer. Mr. Herzog, who previously was AIG's senior vp and comptroller, replaces Steven J. Bensinger, who left. Mr. Bensinger had been vice chairman-financial services and acting CFO since May. Separately, AIG named Rick Gibbons, an AIG executive vp, president of AIU Marine & Energy, to replace David Hawksby, who resigned.
