Yes, the brothers Rodgers are banged up. Running back Quizz Rodgers, whose limited stature belies his powerful running style, has a bum shoulder. Receiver James Rodgers, who has speed to burn, has turf toe. Considering their playing styles, there aren't many more costly injuries either could suffer.

But there's yet another dangerous offensive weapon on the Oregon State roster, and it's one the Ducks best not overlook.

The theme for Oregon's defense in interviews this week has been defending the Rodgers brothers, in particular their roles in the Beavers' fly sweep.Focus too much on them, though, and you run the risk of forgetting about Sammie Stroughter. And you do that at your own peril.

Stroughter is a dangerous deep threat, as Arizona found out on the Beavers' desperation drive to a game-winning field goal last week. He's also an effective runner in the open field. Stroughter returns punts for Oregon State, and he has the ability to make game-changing plays on both offense and special teams.
