I wish I had read this book some months ago, when graduate students from all round the world arrived at the World Council of Churches' Ecumenical Institute at Bossey, near Geneva, to engage in ecumenical and missionary studies. I would then have been better informed about the students' different contexts: India; Latin America; Korea; Africa; North America; Europe. With just one book and one day, the whole world becomes my parish, and I have now been briefed by universally acclaimed experts in missiology, such as Lesslie Newbigin, David Bosch, William Abraham and Orlando Costas, and without having to read any of their books. This is the result of a skillfully chosen and well-introduced set of extracts from their writings, and those in different settings, who may be equally renowned, viz.
