The two books under review here provide an intriguing look at the notions of peace, justice, and racial harmony through the quest to end global hunger and the prism of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the Middle East. More specifically, since the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York City in 2001 and the subsequent United States-led invasion and occupation of both Afghanistan and Iraq, many world leaders, scholars, politicians, national figures, and community activists have focused great attention on how to use only humanitarian measures to secure a future of international peace and justice.
