Charter Communications has reported financial and operating results for the third quarter and first nine months of 2008.

In a release, the Company stated:

- Third quarter revenues of $1.636 billion grew 7.8 percent year-over-year on a pro forma1 basis and 7.3 percent on an actual basis, primarily driven by increases in telephone and high-speed Internet (HSI) revenues.

- Third quarter adjusted EBITDA2 of $563 million increased 10.8 percent year-over-year on a pro forma basis and 10.4 percent on an actual basis.

- Third quarter adjusted EBITDA margin of 34.4 percent increased 90 basis points year-over-year on a pro forma basis.

- Total ARPU3 for the quarter increased...
