In a vote that's almost surely more lopsided than Tuesday's real one will be, Oregon youths handed Barack Obama a landslide win in the Oregon Student Mock Election.

According to results announced Thursday, Obama picked up 67 percent of the vote to John McCain's 28 percent, with third-party candidates scooping up the balance.

Bill Lunch, chairman of the political science department at Oregon State University, said he anticipates a decisive Obama victory in Oregon on Tuesday, but it won't be quite that dramatic.

"In the latest poll numbers we have, it's looking like a 15-point lead for Obama," he said, though some pollsters have placed it at closer to 20. "Basically, it's a blowout." A trend estimate at pollster.com has Obama leading McCain in Oregon 53.4 percent to 39 percent.
