Just before the kickoff of Oregon's football opener against Washington in Autzen Stadium today at 7 p.m., there may be some introductions in order among the No. 21 Ducks.

Whether the home team attempts or receives the opening kickoff, the 11 players on that special teams unit for Oregon will be taking their first live-action snap as a group this fall. Far from being atypical, it's rare for first-string special teams groups to practice together much in fall camp, making those plays some of the most stressful of the game for a coaching staff on opening night....
