At the long bar, decorated with reeds, rushes and palm fronds, a horsey-looking girl with a blonde bob andwearing a pink shirt tucked into high-waisted trousers, bounds up to a group of girls and leans in conspiratorially.
'Apparently the Princes might be coming down tonight,' she whispers in excited delight.
'Really?' another girl grins. 'I do hope so, Henrietta. They are just too much fun.' It's 10pm on a Thursday at Mahiki, and already the bar is starting to fill up.
Beautiful waitresses in off-the-shoulder orchid print dresses glide around taking orders while behind the bar the male staff, all in Hawaiian shirts, are already serving shots of tequila to the sound of Blondie's Heart Of Glass.
