There are plenty of distractions to be found on a sunny weekend morning in Eugene, but an eager group of students had more important goals on their minds Saturday.

Fourteen people packed the computer lab room at the Eugene Public Library downtown for a free computer class designed to help them in their search for jobs.

The library offers an array of free computer classes every Saturday morning, but this weekend's course was of particular interest - it covered searching for jobs online, such as using the Oregon Employment Department's job search, utilizing practice tests for various jobs and using resume templates. The class' maximum enrollment is supposed to be 12...
