Chicot Memorial Hospital, a primary acute care critical access hospital in Lake Village, was confronted with a problem that plagues hospitals both large and small. Even with an exceptional staff, it was hard to track when physician insurance certificates and vendor contracts were coming due. But with the help of MediTract, Chicot was able to greatly enhance its ability to keep those contracts in order.
"Chicot is a small, rural facility and is exceptionally well run, but we were frequently missing the dates when our contracts required attention, especially if there was a change of department manager or executive assistant, which is responsible for controlling the physical location of all contracts and all physician credentials," said Bruce A.
