GULFPORT -- With a motto like "We make a positive difference in people's lives every day," you know the Community Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC) means business--workforce training business that is. The school's district includes the counties of George, Jackson, Harrison and Stone and works with 50 companies to provide a long list of services.

In fiscal year 2003, the "campus without walls" served a total of 17,000 individuals in all workforce, continuing education and basic skills programs, according to Anna Faye Kelley-Winders, vice president for the community campus headquartered in the Applied Technology and Development Center just off Seaway Road in Gulfport.
