SOUTH AFRICA were forced to dig deep to see off the challenge of a determinedConnacht side in an entertaining clash at a packed Sportsground last night.

Michael Bradley's men produced a stirring performance which at one stage in thesecond-half look like producing a shock result as Connacht narrowed the deficitto just a try going into the final quarter.

Bradley will have few complaints all season if his side defends as well as theydid last night as they stopped South Africa in their tracks with some basic upfront tackling.
