Fairchild Semiconductor (NYSE: FCS), one of the largest global suppliers of high-performance power products for multiple end markets, has announced that its Bucheon, South Korea manufacturing facility has successfully passed the Korean Occupational Safety & Health Agency (KOSHA) 2000 follow-up audit for 2002. Fairchild first gained KOSHA certification at Bucheon in 2000, and has successfully met yearly audit requirements since that time. This is the second year in a row that Fairchild has been certified with zero discrepancies.
