The fifth annual Short Attention Span Film and Video Festival -- no subject longer than two minutes and change -- is bigger than ever and this year goes on the road to New York.

Its creator, Elizabeth Hall, 31, an artist and video maker who also plays guitar in a punk band, hopes while there to work out a joint show with a theater company whose speciality is plays lasting no longer than two minutes.

The Short Attention Span Festival features the work of 61 artists, filmmakers and technicians. Most work in television or computers, where two minutes is as long as a German opera. Some of the shorts aren't worth watching, but their brevity is the beauty of the form.

"In two minutes, you can't get bored," said Hall.
