At Batesville High School, Sue Lobrano was a majorette, feature twirler, played the flute and was selected to participate in the prestigious Lion's All-State Band for two consecutive years. So it was little surprise that her career would revolve around dance and music.

After graduating from high school, Lobrano continued running the dance school she established with a neighbor at the age of 13. She opened several studios in North Mississippi and had more than 300 students before deciding to be a stay-at-home mom. Then, after 14 years of marriage, she was faced with a divorce and "no college degree and only a career in dance to fall back on," she said.
