Article Excerpt On May 27, 2004, the Baptist History and Heritage Society adopted a recommendation of its Board of Directors to approve a Planning Committee whose purpose would be to prepare and recommend to the Society special events, projects, meetings, publications, and joint ventures that the Society could undertake both to prepare for and celebrate Baptists' 400th anniversary in 2009.
