UK: Harman has revealed that the Amek brand is to be terminated by the end of 2004. The news, long-anticipated by some observers, means that the 15 year-old contract with designer and pro audio legend Mr Rupert Neve has come to an end.

The move came as the UK arm of the billion-dollar company revealed more plans for its forthcoming digital live consoles, as well as details of further consolidations within the BSS, Soundcraft and Studer camps.
