A year and a half ago, Neil Warne worried about where the money would come from, roughly $500,000 to stage the U.S. Women's Amateur Golf Championship at Eugene Country Club.

A few months ago, he worried where the volunteers would come from, close to 350 needed to serve as walking scorers, forecaddies, marshals, parking lot attendants and to fill so many other roles.

A lot of worrying but, as things have turned out, and probably in part because of all that worrying, no worries.
