More than 30 Oregon authors will be on hand to discuss their work and autograph their books during the Art & the Vineyard Festival at Alton Baker Park July 4-6.

Featured authors with new books this year include Eugene's reigning S.L.U.G. Queen Leigh Anne Jasheway-Bryant with a humorous book for the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials, "Laugh Track & Field."

Jan Eliot will also have a new collection of her popular "Stone Soup" cartoons, "This Might Not Be Pretty."

Here is a schedule of this year's authors, with books they'll be autographing:

Dan Armstrong - "Prairie Fire" and "Taming the Dragon," novels of environmental suspense. Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Diane Bentley Baker - "Child of Light," a historical fantasy about a time traveler. Saturday, 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Joe Blakely - "A Tribute to McArthur Court" (2008), as well as two Oregon novels and two books...
